释义	臺灣新美術運動 tái wān xīn měi shù yùn dòng指在日治时代，因受日本文化殖民政策影响，有一批年轻的美术家在追求台湾意识及民族平等的共同愿望下，所展开的美术运动。也由于美术不若文学敏感，因此美术家得以活跃的参与「帝展」、「台展」、「台阳展」、「府展」，为台湾的近代美术开创一个新的局面。昭和九年西元1934年，由李梅树与陈澄波、陈清汾、颜水龙、廖继春、杨三郎、李石樵、立石铁臣等八人，在台北成立「台阳美术协会」，正是此运动的新里程碑。
