释义	澎湖天后宮 péng hú tiān hòu gōng位於澎湖馬公市長安里。創建於元世祖至元十八年西元1281或明朝初年，是年代最久遠的媽祖廟，原名娘媽宮。清康熙二十二年西元1683派靖海將軍施琅攻打臺灣，擊敗鄭克塽軍隊於澎湖，傳說此役媽祖曾顯靈助戰，因而得勝，所以翌年將宋以來的媽祖天妃封號晉封為天后，廟名也改稱為「天后宮」。建築特色包含一面具有防風及避邪作用的照壁、屋頂為綠色琉璃瓦、柱子沒有雕上龍紋、大殿前的門扇雕工精美細緻。現屬臺閩地區一級古蹟。
