释义	十二处 shí èr chǔ旧译十二入。佛教语。指眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意六根与色、声、香、味、触、法六尘。谓根尘相互涉入而能产生知觉，如眼根与色尘涉入而产生眼识。佛教用语。佛教将认识的官能和认识对象共分成十二类。认识官能即眼根、耳根、鼻根、舌根、身根、意根，谓之六根。认识对象有：色、声、香、味、触、法，谓之六尘。处是生长门之意。因为一切心理活动都是由根和尘相结合而生，故称为「十二处」。苦非蕴，十二处非真实。《大乘法苑义林章．卷一》十二處
