释义	北面官 běi miàn guān辽占领燕云十六州以后，为便于统治，建立起两套官僚系统，以国制治契丹，以汉制待汉人。国制即原契丹官制，统称北面官；汉制官统称南面官。北面官均由契丹人充任，统治契丹人和汉族以外的其他族人；南面官由汉人和契丹人充任，统治汉人，管理州县、租赋、军马等事。参阅《辽史．百官制》。
