道教认为六丁丁卯、丁巳、丁未、丁酉、丁亥、丁丑为阴神﹐为天帝所役使；道士则可用符箓召请﹐以供驱使。干支中的丁丑、丁卯、丁巳、丁未、丁酉、丁亥。道教传说中的六位丁神。分别是丁卯、丁巳、丁未、丁酉、丁亥、丁丑，皆为阴神，为天帝役使，道士可用符箓召请以祈禳驱鬼。
从官卞忌自言能使六丁，善占梦，畅数使卜筮。
