释义	億載金城 yì zǎi jīn chéng台湾一级古迹。位于台南市南塭十六号。创建于清同治十三年西元1874年。清同治十二年，日本以同治十年琉球渔民遭牡丹社原住民族杀害为借口，大举出兵台湾，清廷派沈葆桢交涉，事件后沈氏奏请于安平区筑炮台以巩固海防，费时二年完工。城门外书亿载金城，城门内书万流砥柱。炮台为方形区域，四角落凸出，供设大炮。中间空地为兵士操练场，城外围有护城河。工事十分坚固，是当年台海重要屏障。
